1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Mapleptiva website and any purchase of materials from us. By browsing this site or placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. Research use only

All materials offered by Mapleptiva are supplied exclusively for laboratory research and development by qualified personnel. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices, and are not intended for human or veterinary use. You must not administer any material to humans or animals, and you must not resell or transfer material for any such purpose.

3. Eligibility

By ordering you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age, that you are acting for a research institution, company or as an independent qualified researcher, and that you have the training and facilities to handle the materials safely and lawfully.

4. Catalogue information

Product descriptions, specifications and prices on this site are provided for identification and general information. They do not constitute a claim of efficacy, safety or suitability for any particular use. We may correct errors and change specifications or prices without notice. Where a catalogue listing conflicts with the certificate of analysis supplied with a lot, the certificate governs that lot.

5. Orders and acceptance

Enquiries submitted through this site are requests for a quotation, not binding orders. A contract forms only when we issue a written order confirmation with pricing and the applicable lot. We may decline any order at our discretion, including where we cannot verify the intended use.

6. Payment and title

Payment terms are stated on the invoice. Title and risk pass as specified on the order confirmation. Late payment may result in suspension of further supply.

7. Shipping and risk

Dispatch estimates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Risk passes on delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for inspecting shipments on arrival and notifying us of damage or discrepancy within five business days.

8. Returns

Because these are research materials with chain-of-custody requirements, opened vials cannot be returned. Unopened, undamaged material may be returned within 14 days of delivery by prior arrangement and with our written authorisation. See shipping & returns.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the material concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of research time, data, or grant funding. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Mapleptiva against claims, losses and costs arising from your use, handling, storage or onward supply of the materials, or from your breach of these terms or applicable law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mapleptiva is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts there.
